Born in Beirut and raised in Toronto on September 2, 1964, to Samuel Nowlin Reeves, Jr. and, Patricia Taylor, Keanu Reeves is a renowned Canadian actor who began acting in theatre productions and in television films before making his feature film debut in Youngblood.
Keanu Reeves was born with a condition known as dyslexia, a disorder that impairs the ability to perceive written and oral language.
As a child, Reeves struggled in school and was often expelled. He never completed high school, and his mother was clearly concerned about his dyslexia. Despite the struggles, Reeves found ways to learn, and he was once one of the best goalies in his hockey team.
