A recent Amazon Prime documentary has shed new light on this case.
Wayne Frisby aka Mac Wayne, 37, was sentenced to six years in prison.
His long list of charges includes the distribution of illegal drugs.
A recorded phone conversation revealed that Wayne Frisby was involved in a drug ring with 11 others.
He was arrested as part of a drug trafficking ring in Snohomish County, Washington.
The case came to light after federal agents executed 15 search warrants at his home.
They discovered over 100 pounds of heroin, fentanyl pills, and methamphetamine, as well as 24 guns, including a Glock pistol.
The arrest prompted federal authorities to seize a total of $525,000 in assets, as well as dozens of firearms.
Federal prosecutors sought a prison sentence of eight years, but he pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute controlled substances.
On top of these charges, Frisby admitted to conspiracy to distribute narcotic drugs. On top of these, he ordered pound-sized amounts of heroin.
In addition, Frisby discussed firearms and facilitated the shooting of another man.
Moreover, prosecutors matched his voice to the audio recordings to identify him.

He pleaded guilty to the charges and was sentenced to six years in prison.
On the other hand, Valdez-Sanudo, a Mexican national, had no prior felony record.
In addition to this, Frisby has a permanent U.S. resident card.
Frisby is also accused of three felonies. Among his felony convictions, Frisby is the top re-distributor of fentanyl in the area.
Frisby was already sentenced to two years in prison, but the court heard a separate case against two other men who he allegedly conspired with.
